What is Reiki

Reiki is universal life energy that exists all around us. Reiki channels the natural healing power which surrounds all life through the hands of the practitioner to achieve the highest healing good within the body of the person requesting the session. The practitioner serves as a tool for energy to flow to the client requesting the session.  

Reiki simply is.

The body of the person receiving the Reiki determines what is necessary for the welfare of the person receiving the Reiki. It serves as a positive accessory to the person's will to actively participate in their course of treatment.

Just as each person is unique, each Reiki experience is unique to each person.

Reiki treatments are performed while the client is fully clothed and lying down in a comfortable position. A thorough consultation is performed prior to treatment to discuss goals and intentions as well as address any questions you may have. The practitioner then moves their hands over designated positions along the front and back of the body with either a very light touch or hovering just above the body-this will be discussed at consultation. You may also be seated to receive Reiki if you desire.

Melissa offers sessions in 30, 45, and 60 minutes. You may also request Reiki flow in conjunction with any other service bLiss offers.
